The students had a discussion in English class today. The main topic of today’s discussion is about “whether middle school students can take mobile phones to school”. Opinions vary differently from person to person.Some of my classmates are in favor of taking phones to school because they may keep in touch with their parents. However, others do not think so, because they feel there will be more disadvantages like wasting time or losing themselves in playing phones.
As far as I am concerned, I also don’t think it is a good idea for the following reasons. First, students are too young to control themselves, so they will pay more attention to their phones instead of the teachers and classes. Second,if given mobile phones, they are more likely to play games and discuss the games they play with each other all day long.
In conclusion, if is good for students not to use mobile phones in school.
