As for me, I often help my parents do chores, such as taking out the rubbish and doing the dishes. However, a number of Chinese children hardly ever do chores. Some of them think doing chores makes them tired and is a waste of time. Some even think it’s their parents’ job to do them. But I disagree with these ideas. I think children should share chores. Why? Because it can help us understand our parents. What’s more, doing chores can help us learn to be independent. It’s better for our future.
