I’m glad to receive your email. Let me tell you what Ican do and can’t do when my parents are away. I can wake upon time, although I can’t makebreakfast. I usually have it at school. I can make the bed although my mum often does it for me. But I can’t tidy up the washing room. It’s difficult for me. I canwash my clothes but I often get themnot very clean. I can’t give my dog a wash alone. It’s so difficult that Ican’t do it.
When my parents are away, I will miss them, but I think I can look after myselfvery well.
What about you? Looking forward to your reply.
Fromyour email, I learn that you feel afraid and worried about staying at home alone. Here is some advice.
First, never open the door to strangers, though they look very friendly and kind.Second, when answering the phone, do not tell the callers you are alone at homeso that they can’t bring you possible danger. Tell them your mum or dad is busyand that he or she will call them back. Third, always keep all doors andwindows locked, and never enter your house if you see the door open or if thereis a broken window. Leave and get help from a trusted person.
Don’tworry. I’m sure you can manage it. Hope you enjoy your time alone.

Aswe know, we have had some experiences to stay at home alone. And sometimes thedanger may be around us.
Once,I had to be at home alone for two days because my parents were on business. Infact, I wasn’t afraid of being home alone at all, although there were lots ofstrange noises at night. But the danger came near to me because I forgot toturn off the gas in the kitchen. Luckily, Uncle Wang next to my house smelt itand told me about it.
So,if we’re at home alone, remember to turn off all electricity and gas when wedon’t use them.
If wealways pay much attention to something, we are sure to enjoya much safer life, even though we are alone at home.
